American Society of Chelanoverians and Colsteiners of America

Chelanoverians are a rare warmblood breed of horse originating in America’s rural Inland Northwest. The breed excels at versatility, with horses competing in dressage, eventing, and Working Equitation.

A Colsteiner is a derivation of the Chelanoverian breed. A distinction between the two rare warmbloods is that the Colsteiner is a finer boned, hotter blooded model of horse with more thoroughbred influence than the Chelanoverian.
